According to a website, Ivy League schools don’t accept CLEP credits, but when I checked https://www.extension.harvard.edu/registration-admissions/degree-program-admissions/undergraduate-transfer-credit, it says that Harvard does “accept a maximum of 16 credits for coursework completed by an examination, such as the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), or professional training approved by the American Council on Education (ACE).”
Was that article that I read outdated, or am I seeing things wrong?
Harvard Extension School is not Harvard. It’s intended for older students already in the workforce or with families that can’t do a traditional college program.
Generally, it’s public universities that accept CLEP credits. Not all universities do, or they may accepte only a few of them. Please read up on CLEP on College Board’s website. Many of your questions will be answered.

Harvard Extension is Harvard University. Students receive a Harvard degree.
But Harvard Extension is not Harvard College.

Exactly and people put Harvard on their resumes, not Harvard Extension.
