Do Labs and Dis go into the 10.5 Unit Max for Phase 1?

<p>I'm going to CALSO on Monday. I understand that we can only register for up to 10.5 units. Does this include Labs and Discussions? If so, what is the unit value for labs and dis?</p>

<p>no. The labs and discussions don't have their own units, they are included in the lecture. If you sign up for a 4 unit physics lecture, you also must sign up for a disc and lab, but it is still 4 units total.</p>

<p>So tomorrow, I can't sign up just for the Discussion to get a good time?</p>

<p>you sign up for the discussion only after you sign up for the lecture unless the two are separate classes, like chem 3a and its lab</p>
