do many people at cornell have sex with one another?

lol cornell girls aren’t that cute. those that are, know it and carry themselves in a stuck up, condescending manner causing them to not be cute anymore… its a vicious cycle.

oh, ignore the parent goggles…

girls at cornell are like how ryan from the office described Pam to a buddy of his in NYC…

pam would be a 7 in NYC but he’s like a 9-10 in Scranton…

or whatever the numbers were lol.

haha campussci

I honestly never thought I would see the day where a mom would rate her daughter’s “hotness” on an internet forum… I can’t even begin to articulate how wrong/creepy/disgusting/moronic this is.

yeah that was kinda weird. So objective and so freaking weird.

don’t worry about getting laid dude. You will be having sex on a daily basis. Except, you will be receiving rather than giving. Cornell academics will rape you! Especially if you are an engineer.

You will understand when you get your first prelim back. If 33% on your calculus prelim is not sex, then what is?

I didn’t read this for a long time but just came back to read that many of you were completely misconstruing what I said. (Admittedly, I never should have responded on a thread that has this threads title.) But I was responding to a specific entry that was essentially saying that Cornell women are unattractive. This person used #'s, so I responded using #'s.

So some of you guys need to learn some reading comprehension skills and DO NOT imply something that I was not implying.

Also, the often stated or inferred idea that Cornell ladies are not attractive is ignorant, moronic and very immature. There are thousands of young women at Cornell. Some are beautiful, by societal standards, and others have different interesting looks. To imply that most of them are unattractive conveys your insecurity not a factual representation of Cornell women.

No, it implies, in a very explicit manner, that cornell women are unattractive.

yeah…but if that’s definitely not the case (that all Cornell women are unattractive) than your false statement to that effect is going to imply something. I don’t think you’re necessarily insecure, you just have unreasonably high standards.

I never had a problem with the earlier post from morrismm - it was informative given the conversation, and it used a standard mode of communication about attractiveness.

to clarify my post.

Take a random sample of women at cornell

take a random sample of women at all universities

the average attractiveness of women at all universities will be greater than the average of the women at cornell by a decent amount

There are hot girls here.

You are a weirdo if you consider your daughter to be a 9-9.5 or whatever you said.

OK, the first four lines of that definitely make sense. no problems there.
and I guess rating children is a bit unusual. I’m not in the habit of rating anyone and I’m glad I never started.

what everyone always ignores in these conversations is that tboonepicken’s comparison to other universities applies to the guys here just as much as the girls. Of course there are lots of cute guys here, but compared to other places percentage wise its low.

disclaimer before everyone yells at me: I’m not condoning this or saying its right or justified, this is purely observational
I think it comes up more about girls though because girls take more other factors into guys when “rating” them. a girl will overlook some physical flaws if a guy is particularly smart/rich/funny, whereas guys dont care as much about those things in a girl.

whatever happened to “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”? between my friends and i, we rarely ever agree on guys (which is totally a good thing). not everyone has the same standard for judging beauty, so the argument is kind of moot. you can say there are more ugly people here than in insert college in southern states but that’s your opinion and may not be someone else’s.

I love that over 6,200 people have looked at this thread. None others are even in the same solar system.

That alone should give you insight into the original question.
