Do most people who get into UCLA also get into Berkeley?

Agree completely that selectivity is the same but yield is worse for UCLA. I got into Cal and UCLA and ultimately chose Cal even though UCLA was #1 choice. Chinese parents like Cal better.

The people who chose Cal over UCLA tend to be more bookish, and tend to go into engineering majors. I graduated in Economics.

Admitted to both, choose UCLA. The vibes are very different.

Yield is negligibly worse at UCLA than at Cal. In the fall of 2011, Cal’s yield is 38.8%; UCLA’s is 37.1%
