<p>they get a lot of mail in january. a LOT. it takes a while to sort. i've heard admissions staff alluding that if your stuff is a day or two late they probably won't even notice. and especially if it's a rec (which the teacher sends and not you) i don't think they'll hold it against you if it's a tad late. it is playing with fire though, so do so at your own risk.</p>
