Do Schools accept the January 7th ssat test?

Title.
If only some do, can you please tell me which?

Yes. Check admissions deadlines for your schools

Ok. But do I just submit my application on sao, or do I have to indicate somewhere that I took the Jan 7th test?

They do, but those like Exeter who’s deadlines are only 8 days after the test require you to request the scores to be immediately sent to the school ( basically you can’t wait for the results to appear on your SSAT scores page before you send them otherwise they might be too late). I emailed 2 schools about this and they replied the same thing, so I’m assuming it’ll be the same for all other schools who’s deadlines are in the two weeks in which you should be getting your results. I know you weren’t asking for this info but I just wanted you to be aware because it certainly took me by surprise >.<

Thanks for the reply. I am just debating whether or not I should retake because I got 92 percentile on my last test and don’t know how much better I would achieve, not to mention the gamble that I won’t be able to check my score beforehand. What do you think? Should I retake?

@MisterBeluga I think a 92 is a wonderful score compared to some others I’ve seen (and mine heh). Many of the top schools (Exeter, Andover, etc…) have average scores of around 90-95, so if you want to, you can. I’m doing the same, but then again I received a 89. Talk to your parents about it. It all matters on how much effort you put into studying these next few weeks, so that’s something to think about too because you want to improve and lower the chances of getting a lower score. Many people have told me (including a current Exonian) that the AO’s have toned down on the test scores these last few years and are now focusing more on EC’s and such.
