Do schools rescind admission based on first semester of senior year...

or based on the 2nd semester of senior year? (im talking about privates not UCs or CSUs) thx :)

Well your schools should have seen your 1st semester grades before they admitted you, so I'd say no. Unless you had unreported (or misreported) grades or something, I guess.
But second semester, on the other hand, yes. Schools expect you to keep to the same general standard as you've previously shown, or they could rescind your admission. That doesn't mean, however, that you have to keep straight As. As to Bs is okay. As to Ds, though, is definitely not.
So if you're thinking about sitting back and relaxing for the rest of the year, I'd advise against it. You've only got one more semester of HS to go, and it won't kill you to keep working. =]

Yes, the California public schools (UCs and CSUs) will rescind your admission based on first semester grades. Note that the deadline to apply for UCs is in the fall, before the first semester ends. Only if you are borderline do they ask for them when making their decision. Once you are accepted they do ask the schools to send final transcripts. For most students that is the first time they see the senior grades.

nooo i meant private schools such as SCU , USC etc.

??????????????

Haha i have the same question.

It depends on the grades. Did you already send your midyear reports?

If they already saw the grades and accepted you, then you should be fine unless you applied ED or EA and did not need to send your midyear grades.
