I know this probably is a stupid question, but I had 2 years at different schools and finished my degree over the last 3 years at Rutgers. The GPA at the previous schools sucks. Does this get factored in, or is the only factor where I obtained my degree from?

They will want to see all your transcripts -- so yes, your previous schools will get factored in.

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

Don't sweat this a lot. Although they will almost for sure combine your GPAs you can also find a way to report it in fractions -- GPA at original institution and GPA at Rutgers. There is also often an essay option where you can explain any unusual circumstances, such as why and how you wised up at Rutgers.

I definitely have a reason why my GPA suffered, and I've had about 4 semesters around a 3.8. The rest for the most part were horrid.
