Do some schools Automaticly ask for your transcript?

<p>I checked my admissions status at Ohio State and for the required materials it said my transcript was "Initiated." Does this mean they contacted my councilor and asked her for my transcript, or do I still have to forward one to them?</p>

<p>(I'll probably ask my councilor about it anyways when school starts, but my question still stands)</p>

<p>do they use the common app? if they/you use the common app, the transcript is part of the guidance counselor’s report.</p>

<p>Yes, tOSU uses the common app so it should come directly from the GC.</p>
