<p>Parents need a PIN to sign and students need their own PIN to sign the FAFSA. No you don't list your itemized deductions.</p>

<p>thanks, i filed my fafsa yesterday and it didn't ask me to sign it. i checked right now and the website said i fulfilled all my signature requirements</p>

<p>At the very start, you needed to put a PIN in to start your FAFSA. At the end, your parent needed to put their PIN in. That is all that is necessary.</p>
