Does the parent get an ID as well? Or is it just the student for FAFSA?

<p>My dad believes the parent should have an ID as well incase he needs to change his tax returns. But I thought only the student needs the ID for FAFSA and the parent just uses the students ID? Am I correct?</p>

<p>If by ID you mean PIN, the parent MUST also have one. BOTH student and parent must sign the FAFSA with their own PIN … </p>
