Do study hall periods affect college admission?

So I’m a current sophomore in the class of 2020. My school has great academic classes, but our electives are terrible. Anyways, I had to pick a study hall/free period in place of an elective or academic class. Will this affect my college applications?

My classes this year:

Honors Algebra 3-4
IB Spanish 5-6 SL
CrossFit
IB Physics SL
Health (required)
Government @ Economics
Sophomore English (might do honors)
—FREE PERIOD —

My classes last year:

Honors Geometry
Freshman English (not honors)
Modern World History
Chemistry
Physical Education
Health/college planning
Computer science
Spanish 3-4

I took Algebra 1-2, Freshman Biology and Spanish 1-2 in 8th grade.

Just for your information here’s what I’m doing for junior and senior year (most likely).
I’m going to take pre calculus between my sophomore and junior years.

11th grade

IB Language And Literature 1 SL
IB Physics HL
Theory of knowledge (ToK)
IB History Of the Americas SL
IB Mathematics SL 3-4 (Calculus)
IB Spanish SL 7-8
CrossFit
IB Biology SL or IB ESS SL

Will colleges look upon this badly? The free period isn’t on my transcript. Also my GPA is a 3.5.
The reason for the free period is that I was kicked out of IB Bio SL because I’m not in 11th grade and the class was really full. How does this schedule seem to you?

Are you doing the IB Diploma? Don’t you need more HL classes?
If you are doing math/english/science/SS/foriegn language then you are cool. I would take the opportunity to take a fun class if you can!

What are your HLs going to be, maybe you should sit down with your school’s IB coordinator and try to plan out your schedule.
If you have any graduation requirements left like an art class, try to finish those this year instead of taking a study hall.

IB Math HL

IB Advisory (extended Essay, CAS, college planning)

Electives to be determined

Physics HL will be done in 11th grade
Spanish SL 7-8 will be my fourth hs level Spanish class, I took freshman Spanish in ms.

My kids took study halls during times of year when they had really busy EC schedules (one was a sports team captain, other was in Robotics with the insane Jan/Feb schedule during build season). Didn’t hurt their admission chances – helped keep their GPA up.
