Oh, proving identities is just fun.... and anything else in there. Yay precal.

yeah integrals can do something to something of mine...i hate those fellas..derivatives are great, but integrals can yeah

Taking the trig final was really fun though. It was only 10% of our grade, and I had like 104% or something from being in Math League, so there was absolutely no way I could I get an A-. The teacher still made me take the final though. So I took it, without doing any of the problems. I looked at the answers (it was scantron) and picked whatever looked best. It was like 100 questions and I finished in like 5-10 minutes, so my entire class freaked out when I turned it in.

I'm very proud of myself for doing that. Normally I would've actually taken it.

I thought scantron was an Alabama thing!

our mids and finals are 10% each too. i take mids seriously always because you never know what to expect in the 2nd half.

finals it depends. for my precalc final last year, the room was so hot, the school opened late due to oil on floors for senior prank and we had to stand around for 2 hours and i was so angry and didnt know anything, but had a 98 in the class..i ended up getting an 88 on the final cause i just showed random work that was scribbles...

stats exam was similar due to my 106%, i got a 123% on one stats test

I hate scantrons though. they =lazy teachers.

lowest exam: midterm: honors earth science : 76%

I never did anything in that class...my average was 92%..go british guys!! i never got anything below an 88 other than the 76 on a report card for parents to see and never below a 90 or 92 for marking period grades/final averages

Yeah, I always completely care about my grade until I get to the end and it becomes "If I get a 0 on this, I'l get such and such a grade."

Ours are 20%

US History Grading policy:
20% exam
20% daily work/quizzes
20% tests
20% final project
20% notebook

I got a 49% (60% curved) on a math(precal honors) final once...the average was like I swear to god like a C- or something...anyways lo and behold, I dropped out of that class. :)

That's the lowest I've ever gotten on a final.

Ours is really vague.
APUSH grading system:
"Your grade will consist of tests, quizzes, papers, and leadership in class participation." WHAT??!?!?

earth science is easier than bio. colleges stare at the 5 you get and start yawning with extreme boredom

and oh yeah, what's up with this thread digression

i dont think environmental science is a really important classs to take....they are offering it for the first time at my school next year...and it kind of seems like a blow-off to me....but thats just me...you should talk to people who have taken it at your school so you can get an idea of how important the class should be for you

oh, it's not important, but it's a science class and i like science...

Earth Science was only easier than Honors Spanish and Honors Geometry. ALL AP classes and ALL other High honors math or ANY other science course is easier than those 3...they were my "Three B's" so to speak, but they were two were 92s and one was a 90, so they were close

We take most of our exams on scantron here. And AP Enviro: I don't care about the enivronment (although I hate Physics more). Alas, I will take Physics, namely because AP Chem was not bad, and I hate reading more than math (the main focus of Physics.)

logisticslord; are you a freshman?

no junior.
