Do the academies share info

S applied to USAFA summer seminar and got in Session A.

Today in the mail from the Naval Academy please apply to summer seminar!

Just trying to figure out how they got his name.

PSAT's.....

maybe he requested info online

I don't think they share---they really do compete for the same candidates.

I also started recieving info in the mail after I visited usna over the summer for a campus tour and admissions briefing (i think they tricked me into filling out a card survey).

I think they do to an extent. After applying to USAFA summer seminar, I started recieving USNA and USMA mailings.

I know that USNA was not on his radar. He has repeated often living on a boat does not apeal to him. I know that he has had interest in CGA. But is torn about going to AIM, because he was offered an internship this summer at a research lab.

I know high school students are on the lists of many colleges including service academies. That's why there are shopping bags full of college brochures in so many houses.

There are many ways to get on lists. There are interest questionnaires when applying for standardized tests that are responsible for matching up potential candidates for various colleges including the service academies.

Did he take the ASVAB?
CM

No, he has not taken the ASVAB.

What is funny is he has played hockey and worked as a referee at Navy. They are closing the rink in the Dahlgren hall to use the area as a dining hall while the update the current mess hall. So he has been there a lot, but they just wave us through the gate.

The owner of the NJ Devils donated $$ to build a brand new rink. I will be beautiful and he could play hockey for them since they are a club hockey team. Rumor has it they may go NCAA soon. AF and Army are NCAA also.

CGA really sparks his interest too. They have a club team. The pull of hockey will be interesting in his heart.
