Do the colleges on the common app know what other schools you're applying to?

They can tell from the FAFSA.

The CA changed that this year. FAFSA and CSS are supposed to change it, but it seems like it will be for next year. Be safe and list them alphabetically.

Its not the number, its the order.

Schools cannot see the other schools that you apply to on the common app.

Starting with the 2016-2017 FAFSA(filing date starting 1/1/2016) schools will not know what other schools that you are applying to on the FAFSA (state plans will still know what schools you are applying to).
