Do the Presidential and Old Gold Scholarships stack?

Hi all.

Although I’d prefer to go to more of a prestigious school, I may consider going to U of I if I can pay all of my expenses with scholarships. Am I able to receive both the Presidential and Old Gold Scholarships, or are only one of these scholarships awarded?

Yes- the Old Gold and Presidential DO stack. Good luck!

I apologize! Library Girl is definitely correct- they are now non-stackable. The good news is the Old Gold and Presidential Scholarships are of greater value than they were even two years ago. Drat- DD and DS had bad timing in that regard! Good luck future Hawkeyes!

Having said that, are scholarshps likely in addition to the Old Gold?

librarygirl8: You might expect some from the college you were accepted to. My DD got a significant amount of money first semester which renewed the second semester based on GPA. She then received another scholarship for this semester after applying through her college.
