For some reason it looks like they do because people from another test date might realize there was a similar question on mine

sometimes, but they also changed the numbers and operations

actually, yes.

And no they don’t always change numbers. For example, the October 2009 Math II and the June 2005 Math II were identical (or at least, contained a large proportion of identical questions, with identical answers).

It’s funny, because I took math II in June 05 (don’t ask why…) and I would have taken it in October had I not taken the Sat I. How awesome would that have been? I still remembered the answers to ones I missed.

how do u remember questions from 5 years ago??? lol

well I went on the october thread just to remember what types of questions are asked… and found myself thinking, “hey… wasn’t that on the test when I took it?”

I wouldn’t have remembered any of them if it weren’t for that thread but it reminded me and made me realize that they do indeed recycle.

That’s actually true, and I’m sure many people exploit this fact when studying for the SAT subject tests.

I think it’s ridiculous: the December 09 Literature test was almost identical to the November 09 test- some of the hardest passages were repeated! I would have retaken in Dec. had I not gotten above 750 in November…
