I heard that theres a change to the SAT, that for the class of 2010, they can choose which tests are sent to colleges instead of being forced to send everything?

Does this mean you can take any SAT II / SAT as many times as you want and the colleges won't know? I can take it like 10 times and just choose to send my best and it'll be the same as if I had only taken it once?

Can someone clarify/explain what this change is about for me?

Yes, you can choose which single sitting score you want to send to the colleges. But, it really depends on the college, some want to see all your scores.

This new policy just goes to show what a load of **** the SAT really is, it doesn't reflect anything other than how hard you studied for the test/how many times you took it. It seems to me like the ETS just institutes policies like this to encourage people to take the test more often and rake in some more registration fees.

I hear alot of people tend to burn their BB- Imagine if they accidently burn their house down? Wonder if they're going to blame CB for that as well ...

anhtimmy, have any colleges specifically stated that they want all scores after the new score reporting policy was made public? If any have, would you mind telling us?

Quix, you have been inhaling too much of the smoke from your BB...

As long as you do not put down a school when signing up for the SAT, your scores will not be sent. You can choose which score to send if you send them after March 2009, so just wait until then so you can pick and choose.
