Just got into UCSB today and I’m hyped, but one thing I noticed about UCSB that is kind of annoying is that they don’t have a football team
Is it common for UCSB students to attend football games at SBCC? Is it any fun at all?
I saw UCSB basketball was doing well, how good is the atmosphere there? And is soccer at UCSB still elite like they used to be
@jeremy_cohrt Congrats on your acceptance to UCSB! I’m a UCSB alum, who transferred from USC…so I totally get the “no football team” disappointment. Although I never attended any SBCC football games (nor did I know any who regularly did), the soccer games and basketball games are awesome! The SB school spirit is impressive and I found myself having just as much fun watching the soccer/basketball games and having Sunday gatherings with friends to watch the NFL football games. Congrats again!

No one that I know of goes to sbcc football games but we are pretty good at soccer and throw tortillas at games. Baseball team should be pretty good hopefully like 2 yrs ago, not so sure about basketball though!
I also don’t know anyone who went to SBCC football games but the soccer games are fun and people throw tortillas.
