Do Warren transfer students need to take Warren Writing classes?

<p>I am a transfer student and I am accepted by Warren College. </p>

<p>Do I need to take Warren Writing 10A and 10B classes to graduate?</p>

<p>I have finish IGETC and I would really concentrate on my major (Computer Science) after I transfer...</p>

<p>If you have IGETC or TAG, you do not need to take warren writing to graduate.</p>

<p>Ogi</p>

<p>it says on assist.org
UCSD Earl Warren College, WRITING<br>
Upon transfer to UCSD, students will be required to complete 2 Writing courses,
Warren College Writing Program (WCWP) 10A and 10B. There are no courses
equivalent to WCWP 10A and 10B.</p>

<p>Thanks for both Ogi and SkyHope!</p>

<p>Is there anyone from Warren can confirm the information?</p>

<p>I think Ogi is right since assist.org also says transfer students who have completed IGETC only need two more upper-division GE after transfer(see the last paragraph of the article SkyHope quoted above):</p>

<p>For students who have completed their lower-division general-education
requirements at an accredited four-year college and for students who have
completed a systemwide or campuswide approved core curriculum in a California
community college prior to entering UCSD, all the above requirements are
replaced by two upper-division courses non-contiguous to the discipline area of
the major. All other transfer students must complete the same general-education
requirements above.</p>

<p>all the info is on [Earl</a> Warren College](<a href=“http://warren.ucsd.edu%5DEarl”>http://warren.ucsd.edu)</p>
