I heard that if you sent your sat scores officially through collegeboard and you know that it'll get their on time, then you don't have to send the unofficial score report. So I didn't send them. Is this true??

From whom did you hear that? If you followed the application directions easily found on the USC Admissions website, you would have sent Form 5 and your unofficial test scores.

I faxed my unofficial test scores but I forgot to fax form 5 with it. Could I fax it now (hours later) and still be okay?

Did you have your name and USC ID on the unofficial test scores?

I had my name on it, I don’t have a USC ID yet. It was just the print out straight from collegeboard.

If it had your name and address, it should be fine. They are very experienced at matching things up. It isn’t really “Form 5” they want, it is your unofficial test scores. Just look at the page you faxed and the information on it - then if you think someone who didn’t know you would be able to figure out what application it goes with - it should be fine.

Yea it has my name and email on it (I don’t think it has the address though). Should I fax in form 5 just to be safe or is it okay?

Thanks a ton for taking your time to answer all these questions by the way :)

When I called the admissions office yesterday, they did confirm that if they already have your official SAT scores from College Board they really don’t care about Form 5 and the unofficial ones. Yet it’s probably safer to just send in Form 5 than betting on whether or not they have your official ones…

thing is I don’t have a fax machine and don’t have a ride to the post office. I guess maybe I’ll go to a friend’s house.
