Do you apply to college all at once?

If your a transfer, like me, do you have to send out your high school transcript and college transcript on the same day? And do you send in your online application before you send in your transcripts?

—First, submit your portion of the application. The application, essay, resume, and whatever else applies directly to you. Pay the application fee.

–Request professor rec’s and have them sent (sealed envelopes with professor’s signature written across the seal to prove that it’s a confidential and official rec).

–Go to the registrar and request an official copy of your college transcript to be sent by the registrar’s office to the transfer school. Sometimes you have to pay a fee to have it sent.

–If your transfer school requires a copy of your official HS transcript and/or official copies of your SAT/ACT scores, make the request to do so. Call your HS and ask them to send an official copy of the HS transcript. Contact College Board and pay to have an official copy of your SAT score sent to the transfer school (pay the fee to send it).

In short, fill out the application, pay the application fee, and send the application. Move on from there and get the supplemental info out to them ASAP.
