Do you consider yourself an overachiever?

.............

I won't dignify this with a response unless you clarify whether your name refers to the truly elite Harvard med or the easy admit to their masters programs.

no i do not

neither do I

used to be.

Since I consider being an overachiever to be achieving more than your general intellect should allow, then definitely no. I get A's and B's but if I was more organized and together, I could maybe pull straight A's. I'm by no means a genius, but I wish I had the energy to put forth more effort.

No... I still sleep a healthy amount. =D

nope
procrastination ftw!!!

goldenratioΦ and fizix are definitely genii, although since I don't know them personally, I wouldn't be able to comment on whether or not they are overachievers

well thank you ^_^

I'm just an underachiever who has achieved a lot. People that take pride in overachieving are, to be honest, losers (in the non-literal sense).

Why wouldn't you want to maximize your potential and achieve as many accomplishments as you can??? I don't understand why anyone would limit themselves...

On the contrary - people that call themselves overachievers are people that believe they couldn't possibly do any better. Underachievers like myself have no limit. I could do better, but I don't feel like it.

nope .

No. It takes me like countless hours to motivate myself to do hw.

^ oo same problem with me :(

Hellz no, my friend.

I'd make one kickass overachiever if I were considerably less lazy, methinks.

I am unspeakably lazy, so no. And I'm also not a joiner, which is a characteristic of overachievers.

All of you need to stop comparing yourself to YOUR standards.

If your on this website, theres a 99% chance that, yes, you are a overachiever.

**overachiever:* 1. someone who does better than expected. 2. someone excessively dedicated to the achievement of success.*

Nahh. I set minimum requirements and personal goals for myself, and I map out ways for me to be a competitive applicant for the schools I want to go to, but I don't think that's being an overachiever.

The sad part really is that my intelligence has significantly decreased over the years. I was the smartest middle school kid, serious overachiever as well -- won AMC8 for my school in sixth grade, applied for all sorts of programs, was thoroughly invested in going to Harvard, et cetera...

Blehh.
