Do you study at the last minute or study consistently over several weeks and days for the days leading up to a test.

I cram for just about every test, but I seriously studied 5 hours a day for a week for my Algebra II/Trig regent. Got a 92 <3

Depends on the test. For the ACT I study for a couple months in advance, then seriously cram the night before. For any test that is NOT standardized (any math tests, grammar tests, finals, etc.) I just cram the night before and then make an A :)

I just cram. Works out pretty well for me.

Depends on the test. I cram for history tests (except for the AP Test at the end of the year; I actually study for that), math tests, vocabulary tests, most English tests, Spanish tests, etc…

I study for science tests.

How do you guys define cramming? For me it’s going over my notes in the class before the test.

I take my time and study for exams over a couple of weeks, but on the average test I’ll just review the night before.

Study the day before sometimes.

@CSIHSIS
For me, cramming is staying up all night studying the things I have trouble with and reviewing everything else.

I don’t study for more than one night for anything besides standardized tests, so studying the night before is actually studying for me. I do that for things that I really don’t get (physics).

Otherwise, it goes like this: 3 more minutes until the period starts **** I got plenty of time everyone teach me everything you know about anything

And that’s how you get straight As.

Science I study. Everything else I cram.

This thread just reminded me I haven’t prepared at all for my Subject Tests on Saturday…lol…

I cram. I love those cram kits for AP tests by Demidec, they’re actually made for cramming unlike some review books. They still can’t beat DH for US history though :P

study a couple nights in advance for history
all other classes i cram
or dont study (physics) easy A+

Cramming. It works, but it sucks when exams come around and everything left my memory.

I only study the day before the test. If it’s a physics or english test I don’t study at all :p. Works fine for me.

I study the morning of the test. LOLz. It’s been working fine for me, though.

Night before or not at all. ← my policy

What kinds of tests do you all take? They seem so easy.

I’ve been preparing for four different exams for about 3 months.

I cram, I shouldn’t do that anymore
