If it’s a regular test, the night before. Duh.

I cram the morning of the quiz/test.

I cram. No “ifs”, “ands”, or “buts” about it. :P

LOL. I just realized I posted about my cramming twice in this thread…

It depends on the course and the importance of the test. If I find the course easy or it’s an unimportant test, I cram. Otherwise, I study.

I usually listen in class and that’s my “studying”. I then cram it all the night before the test.

Wow, for the future’s best and brightest, we have awful study habits. xD I cram too, though, the night before, starting at about 7:30 but never staying up later than 11:30. Not getting enough sleep will effectively erase everything. And then I cram on the thirty-minute drive to school the next morning and (if it’s WHAP, which it usually is, curse those frequent chapter tests) first and second block under the desk.

Semester exams, though, I actually study, starting about two weeks before. Everything has left my brain by then.

Cram history tests.
Study for physics test.
Don’t really do anything for math tests.

Math - never study or cram, I am just a boss at math
Science- depends…earth science-never study, astronomy-never, bio - study, chem-study, physics-don’t study
S.S. - cram
Englsh-cram
Spanish - cram

Why cram if you can just listen for the first time and just think very hard about it? You just learn a bunch of words if you cram; it does you no good.

in all honesty, you shouldn’t have to study AT ALL if the class is good and you stay awake…

sadly, a lot of my classes suck and i never stay awake. cram the night before almost every time. it really isn’t a great method though; nothing sticks.

For many of my courses, the material sticks in my head from the courses. My comp sci and English teachers are really bad, though, so I have to cram every time.

I study what is interesting because it is interesting. Attending class and doing homework should be enough to get an A, if you pay attention. Beyond that, you should only spend your time gaining a deep and long-lasting memory of a subject or topic you’re interested in. You only have so much time in your life. It’s a zero sum game.

Cramming is even more silly. Every study demonstrates that pre-test sleep is preferred to studying in correlation with examination scores when considering people starting with an equal base of knowledge.

And anyway, what are you doing in a class you aren’t interested in in the first place? If you don’t want to study a subject on its own merits, why would you waste so much time attending classes in the subject that require studying to perform well?

I cram for everything because my short term memory is really good. I don’t even study for math because it’s easy.

My school offers a limited number of subjects. I’m studying for a national exam (A-levels).

What do u guys do to study?

Sent from my ADR6300 using CC App

I study for History because I really cannot stand my class so I barely remember anything that goes on and just go into a trance, but everything else I pretty much cram the night before because I am horrible at managing time.

Cramming periods before the test. It’s so stressful and gets me mad because I usually bring the books home to study but never bring myself to actually do it.

I usually cram for my tests but im trying not to be lazy and not do that anymore cuz usually my tests scores are unpredictable when i do that so im starting to space my study time out up to 4 days before a test since i tend to do MUCH better that way.
