Do you dress to be comfortable or to be noticed by the opposite sex?

And be honest. Nobody is going to judge you or call you a slot. Be serious here. Supposedly girls are a lot more likely to dress to attract men. I just want to see if it's the same here.

Personally, I'm mostly looking for comfort. I won't dress like a slob and certainly try to maintain my appearance for the opposite sex but I'm mainly just trying to be comfortable.

Both. I think a lot of my clothes are comfortable, but any girl who says high heels are comfortable is lying.

I buy clothes that are comfortable. High heels are uncomfortable:/ I find jeans, sweatshirts, and flats to be preferable:)

Geeze man you’re really dominating tonight.

Anyway, yeah pretty much both. Minus my school uniform its usually skinny jeans and a nice shirt.

High heels are dumb. They look uncomfortable as crap and it doesn’t portray a significantly better figure. Obviously girls’ legs look slightly better in high heels but it isn’t major. Barely noticeable.
When you go to a dance or something I guess you have to wear them but I’d tell my girlfriend/wife not to wear them.

But on a separate note, what about when you are wearing short skirts in November. I can’t stand chicks who act like it is comfortable. Stop being fake. You do it for attention.

I loooovee high heels. Haha they make EVERY girl look better.

As seen in that Asian thread, you are talking about a woman’s view of beauty. It’s why models in magazines and runway models often are average at best to us men. Women think there is a huge difference between heels and shoes but I’d say it’s marginal at best. Plus you look dumb trying to walk in them.

I’m a pro at walking in them. Calm down, its my opinion.

Nah I’m not mad, just saying.

Oh BTW, whenever you see videos of tragedies or big scares it’s always funny to see the chicks with high heels stumbling all over the place.

I like ALWAYS wear high heels when I go to a a nice party. They just go nice with the dress. I usually just take them off on the dance floor.

Hmm…I used to dress to “impress” (in middle school).

Now I’m over it and on most days it’s just a comfy tshirt/top with jean shorts or something. During winter it’s jeans with whatever I feel like wearing. Finals week I was dead and wore sweats all the time.

Honestly, no one really cares as long as you don’t dress like a slob.

I’m with liverpool. I wear high heels whever I can. I have boots with heels.I’m pretty intense sometimes. I dress they way I do b/cause I know it sounds crazy to you haterunite but I like it. On days when I wake up and i feel the world is going to end, like I’m tired and failed my PSAT and my math grade was not good enough for me and I have 3 big tests that I can’t stand- I wake up, go into my closet, find heels and matching accesories and wear them. For me, each piece of clothing means something. I have pity-me-earings,lucky necklaces,a huge Mardi-Gras necklace I wear to disturb others. I wore a sundress, boots, and a huge yellow button worn as a hair clip once just because the yellow made me happy. I have suede red shoes which I’ve affixed red flowers to because they look pretty and I feel special when I wear them. somitmes I wear huge gift wrap ribbons in my hair. Other days, nothing I wear will match. Its not always about opposite sex, hatersunite, I dress to make a statement. Black/purple= depressed. Green/blue = optimistic. Red is hoping I’ll be lucky.Sorry,I’m rambling.

Dress to be comfortable, but I’m a guy.

I think actually a lot of times girls dress to impress other girls more so than guys. Honestly most guys don’t care what designer made the dress as long as they look good they really don’t care. Girls on the other hand are more likely to go talk to their friends and comment on what other girls are wearing.

Who says you can’t wear comfortable clothes that attract the opposite sex?

both- i like doing both.

personally, I am attracted to girls with nice hair and tight shirt

I think it’s easier for guys to pull off both simultaneously

I don’t feel comfortable in a sweatshirt and sweat pants. Not when I’m in public. And I honestly find jeans and most t-shirts uncomfortable. I never wear them, not at home, not out. So yeah, I dress nicely, but I couldn’t care less if the opposite sex notices me. And I think what almost_there said is right. I care more about/expect more to get compliments from other girls than any glances from guys.

I’m not big on heels though. I love being short. Sometimes, in heels, I’m taller than some (really really short, like 5’4") guys and I get this immense feeling of guilt when that happens.

They’re both one in the same for me.
