What are your honest opinions on this? I think it's really... just like why? Why would you wear heels to school? I don't understand. I don't have any negative opinions on it, though. My feelings are pretty neutral. I'm actually considering wearing little wedges next year (junior).

Oh, wedges are fine. As long as they look sufficiently casual or you aren’t uncomfortable/wobbling around all day. Don’t be like the girl at my school who wore a green polyester prom dress to school on a random day! If the heels are too high or too dressy, it tends to look ridiculous. So use your best judgement, and happy heel wearing! _/|

I know a couple of girls at my school that almost always wear heels to school (usually 3-4in) since they always like to dress very nicely to school.

But honestly, so long as they are not ridiculously tall (5 in or more) and work nicely with an outfit that isnt too fancy for school then go for it.

But keep in mind there is a high possibility that you will trip when walk up the stairs especially if your school is big or just has a lot of people on the stairs

I love to wear heels to school! I usually stick with wedges because they’re more comfortable but if I’m dressing professionally or especially nice, I’ll weawr 3-4 inch stilettos. However, if you cannot walk in heels properly… DONT WEAR THEM. Nothing looks more ridiculous than a girl attempting to strut in heels but wobbling all over the place!

I see girls all the time wearing heels to school wobbling throughout the hallways. Yeah, it annoying but there’s no dress code at my school that forbids it.

I wear heels to school, but not stilettos or anything. Just (4 inch) wedges or really chunky 1 inch heels. My school is very into fashion and being dressy and it is a very normal thing for girls to wear.

I’ve only worn wedges or boots with heels never the skinny heels but I wear wedges/boots outside of school more,I rarely wear the skinnky heels b/c they’re hard to walk in.
I usually don’t like wearing heels because of the sound it makes and I’m shy and don’t really like attention but I don’t mind walking in boots w/ short heels.

The only bad experience I’ve had is older guys checking me out/cat calling and a guy my age that didn’t go to my school(I was near a library of another city)called me a stripper&slut but I think he was trying to get my attention.Needless to say I haven’t worn heels since then and I was wearing wedges at the time with a long sleeve sweater-it was conservative to me

I tried to wear mine a couple of times but they are just way too uncomfortable, so I sold them to my friends for cheap. As for my school, popular girls like preps and jersey chasers like to wear heels because they always dress so well. A few of my friends who always hang out with the football players like to wear heels, but they look silly at times since they’re around 6 feet tall when they are wearing them.

My school has a uniform (and shoe requirements to go with it) so no student can actually wear heels on a daily basis. However, we have a few uniform free days, where students wear casual clothes. On those days, few girls actually wear stiletto heels - it’s either just wedged boots/booties in colder weather and wedges/espadrilles when it’s sunny. The problem is girls who do wear heels can’t walk properly in them, which is just dangerous.
People, don’t start wearing 4-6 inch heels to school when you’ve been running in flats/loafers for most the year! It’s dangerous, lol.

I’m wearing 3 inch heels tomorrow. As long as you know how to walk in them without looking silly, they contribute well to your style/the person you are…I don’t see a problem.

I’m comfortable in heels and I don’t trip. We don’t have stairs at my school. Why not look cute? I don’t wear them everyday because let’s be real…vans and flats are oh so perfect.

My school doesn’t have stairs. We poor, yo.

Almost no one wears heels at my school. The few people who do are often looked down upon. I’m sure it changes from school to school, but if I were a girl I probably wouldn’t wear them.

^^^ same at mine. There are like two girls that wear them and people make fun of them. Also, I don’t understand going out of your way to be uncomfortable! I can barely stand wearing heels for piano concerts and dances. I’m pretty much in love with my sperry’s and toms anyway they are superior in every way.

Wore short boots today with heels today but my feet hurts…I can’t walk in them for more than an hour, once I wore wedges to the mall with my friends and that wasn’t a good idea. Not only did my feet hurt but I attracted the wrong attention from guys, older guys :(

At my school some girls wear them for business academy-DECA but it looks good not slutty

We have a fuuuulll uniform policy at my school and it’s most likely a good thing, because we didn’t I’m scared of what could walk the halls. Most kids in my area have awful/no taste -_-
