Do You Feel Superior To Others?

im pretty sure you cant go on with your life without drinking or catch flies with your tongue either.

You clearly are forgetting something, Platts.

“The Rainbow Connection.”

Ms. Piggy was fat and ugly.

Miss Piggy = God.
That’s blasphemy.

A. No
B. No
C. But I have! 4 times as a matter of fact.
D. I’m not.
E. No.
F. No
G. I feel inferior.
H.That’s nothing to be proud of.
I. I go to a school where everyone takes the same number of honors/APs and there is 21 students so…

A - no
B - yes
C - I’ve gotten lots of detentions…
D - what ECs?
E - my essay pwns. WHAT.
F - no hooks
G - no…
H - oh yes indeed
I - not really

A. Meh, I do, but grades aren’t everything.

B. My test scores aren’t uber leet though.

C. Lol, I had one today.

D. Huh?

E. Actually theirs are usually better

F. Nope

G. Not doing hw

H. Some of them have cc accounts

I. I’m taking less

J. All of the Above. Nope.

wait, J was all of the above -_- ?

A. Because you have better grades than them (Even if it’s by .1).

No.

B. Because you got a better SAT/ACT/SAT II/PSAT/PLAN score than them (Even if your and their scores are in the same percentile).

Maybe? I don’t know what my January SAT score is, though.

C. Because you never got a detention/supension/bad teacher reccommendations EVER.

Yes.

D. Because you are in one extra sport/club/job/activity/whatever you call an EC.

Yes and no - because I know that what I’m doing is perfectly in line with my passions, which is not the case for many people I know. In terms of EC’s, I’d go so far to suggest that I’m somewhat an example of the “Zen Valedictorian” mentioned in Cal Newport’s StudyHacks blog (google this if you haven’t heard of it and read the blog; it’s awesome).

E. Because your essay, not only your college application essay, was more intriging, to you anyhow, than theirs (Even if it was way nerdier).

Yes.

F. Because you have a hook in college admissions somewhere.

No way - I’m a female ORM without U.S. citizenship (though I have applied for Permanent Resident status), and no legacies at the Ivies.

G. Because you stayed up later than them, because you were studying/doing homework.

Is this really something to feel good about? I wouldn’t think so.

H. Because you had a CC account, but they didn’t.

Ditto with what I said for G.

I. You took more honors/APs than them (Even if it was only by one class).

A little?

J. All of the Above.

No.

A. No. If it’s only .1, they could easily beat me the next time around.

B. Unfortunately, yes, to some degree.

C. This doesn’t apply to me. I got three detentions in my entire life. One for forgetting a book and two for talking too much.

D. Not really. I actually hate people that are this way.

E. Yes.

F. Not sure if I even have one. Hope so, and if so I would.

G. Yes. I feel that this is a display of my dedication to academics. Even if the reason I was up until two is because I procrastinated from 5 to 10, and just then started.

H. This is a source of great insecurity for me.

I. Yes.

J. Yes.

I don’t want to admit it, but I think at times, yes, I do feel superior to others.
