Do you genuinely enjoy school?

I LOVE school, I love learning new things.
But, at the same time I feel like it sometimes holds me back. As Einstein once said "The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education."

I feel like most people here on CC would feel the same way and I was quite surprised when I saw that some did not enjoy school.

So, do YOU genuinely enjoy school?

@MuonNeutrino‌ I dont enjoy school, i only enjoy the few activities that i am a part of afterschool. I cant wait to get home from school every single day of school so that i can do the things i like more. Some people are kinda more ‘hands on’ kinda people so i guess thats why im not really a school kind of person. Though, sometimes its fun to come to school just to see your friends

I enjoy school and learning, but not in a mindless way, if that makes any sense. I have to mentally frame them a certain way in order to enjoy them, and I would value them even if I didn’t.

I think I can say I genuinely enjoy school. Every now and then I get a teacher that makes me feel the exact opposite, but the learning and everything keeps me liking it. The ONLY thing I don’t like is standardized testing. That’s it :)

I definitely enjoy school. It’s the only way I get to see my best friend everyday. Most staffs are nice and teach you. There’s so many fun clubs and sports to join and some lets you skip a class.

I enjoy school for the learning aspect, not so much the socializing. I hate being forced to work with others and I hate just being around people in general.

I’m not going to lie. I don’t genuinely enjoy school. I love learning and researching and doing stuff like that but I just don’t like school itself. It’s overcrowded, the administration sucks, and it’s a huge hierarchy of social status. Not my thing.

Hmm… that’s a very tough question, and to be honest, it depends on many things. I’m taking AP Calculus and Physics right now, and I am enjoying almost every bit of those classes. Although, a 6 hour day can really wear me out. Not to mention, I have sports practice after.

In previous years, I didn’t really like it all that much because many of my classes (bar Programming, which I looked eagerly forward to every day because of subject matter and an awesome teacher, and Chemistry), but now I’m taking classes I’ve always wanted to take.

So, it depends on a lot of things.
Some parts of school I genuinely enjoy, some parts I don’t.

I don’t enjoy school but I enjoy learning. The connection is clear: I’m not learning what I want to learn at school or being taught in a way I consider efficient. Combined with administration issues and a bad school in general (peer-wise too), I quite dislike school.

I enjoy calc and physics but everything else is a complete drag

The only thing I ever look forward to at school is band.
Eh. School’s ok, I guess. I can tolerate it.
