Do you get a welcome pack from NYU???

Hi,

I just got accepted into CAS (RD). I basically just received an email saying I was admitted and I was wondering if I should expect a welcome pack(like an actual physical admittance letter with all the information for admitted students) I am an international student so I realize it may take some time before this gets to Europe but I got in to UMich and got the welcome pack in like four days so I was wondering what's the deal with NYU as the email didn't say anything about a welcome pack(the UMich one did). Thanks in advance :)

I was wondering this too! I just got my email today(hallelujah!). I’m pretty sure they do, because they have to give us info on housing and…I don’t know, other good stuff.

Yup, you get a large purple folder embossed with the words “Congratulations”. It has a couple brochures and a hard copy (frame-able  ) version of the acceptance email you got in your e-mail. I got mine about a week later (5 business days). Also, I’m not sure if they do this in CAS, but I got a separate welcome package from Gallatin, detailing specifics about the program, a few weeks after I made my enrollment deposit.

Cool thank you!!! Can’t wait for mine!

I’m so excited! Another reason for me to stalk the mailman(he’s getting annoyed).

No problem and, I forgot to write this earlier, congratulations :)

Wow, that sounds awesome! I can’t wait for mine! And congrats to you!!

Still no acceptance packet in Georgia, anyone else got theirs?

Nope, I’m on Long Island so I’ll let you know know when its heading down there. :)

I’m still waiting for mine too :frowning: But then again, I’m all the way in Asia.

Got mine today. I’m from CT.

I live in CT too, but I haven’t gotten mine yet. :(

Wait, what? When did you hear back from Umich? I’m international as well.
