Or do you try to handle internal problems, like friendship and relationship issues, by yourself until they blow over?

I don’t go to my parents. I feel like they don’t understand me, I have plenty of people to talk to so I’m not missing out. Well, I am missing out on THAT relationship. I’d rather not have them worry and be overly concerned about me, it just makes my life worse. You alright?

I was just wondering how many kids are like me lol. I don’t go to my parents either, and sometimes I feel a little guilty for not being so close.

Then again, when I try to tell them about a problem I’m having, they’ll brush it off as trivial (they have more to conquer); one of the reasons why I never go to them. Most of the problems ARE resolved within time and forgotten about, but I still wish they were more supportive and understanding sometimes–these are developmentally crucial years. Maybe I’m just selfish :s

I never go to my parents if I have a problem. Mainly because they insist they care and to open up to me but when I mention it they just scold me for whatever fault I have in the issue at hand.

I don’t go to my parents except for school/future. They nag about everything so better not give them something to nag about.
