Do you guys cook or bake?

<p>It's summer break now and I am thinking about lkearning to bake...)) Like cookies or biscuits. o does anyone here bake? what do you like to make?</p>

<p>lololol my mom has been begging me to cook, I’m rebellious. I hate cooking. Cooking is a pain in the arse, but that’s just me.</p>

<p>I bake a lot. I mostly make cookies, cake, and brownies, but not so much bread. It’s fun changing the recipes.
I’m learning to cook over summer.</p>

<p>I cook with my mom whenever she asks for help. I bake cakes, brownies, and cookies for birthdays and special occasions. But I don’t do anything homemade I just use a pre-made box from Betty Crocker, or Pillsbury or whatever.</p>

<p>I know how to cook (I’m not too great with baking), my mother is a chef so it’s something you pick up.</p>

<p>I do the majority of baking/cooking around my house.</p>

<p>My ex boyfriend, at the age of 21, just learned how to use the oven this summer. I am so proud! :rolleyes:</p>

<p>Ok so i just made a biscuit and hot chocolate… Biscuits were major fail!!! just horrible, but hot chocolate was pretty good, my brother drank it all</p>

<p>Since both my parents are chefs for their restaurants, I was enticed with her food and Chinese Cuisine. I can cook marvelous authentic Chinese Cuisine as well as other foods. My prized dish is my mother’s spicy tofu, although I can never get it right as hers, it’s still makes non-tofu lovers come back for more!</p>

<p>I also bake and make bomb-ass curry too. Any Chinese dish you can name, I can make. Well Cantonese style that is.</p>

<p>Aha, um actually, I usually cook/bake when I’m bored, it’s Sunday at noon, I turn on the tv and see the cooking channel and something that looks easy and fun is on (no joke). xD</p>

<p>I hate baking, that’s really the girlie stuff. Stir frying with two hands while watching your entire dish catching on fire momentarily once in a while is the manly thing to do.</p>

<p>i like baking waaay better than cooking, but I still cook (i made some awesome curried corn soup last night!). My brownies are DA BOMB, and my dad is teaching me how to make his bananas foster bread pudding with rum-raisin sauce. my house like revolves around food.</p>

<p>Had resteraunt class my junior year… had to watch out for my bag. too many times had potstickers, curry/rice, cookies, fries have been eaten outta my box… :P</p>

<p>anyways, it’s a weird hybrid. I can cook/bake cookies and brownies, but I can also cook my beloved asian food… :P</p>
