What do your parents expect of you at home? Do you do chores at all? How do you even have time? I mean between hw and school, and EC's when do you do them? Isn't volunteering more productive and beneficial for colleges (even though you sometimes do the same thing lol)?

My mom and grandmother do most of the chores, but honestly, when you see something that needs done, just take five minutes and do it.

Yes, but not really often.
My mom does most of the chores…and sometimes she will pay some money to hire a person.
And the person will do the house chores…
But I really enjoy the time when doing the chores. I think it’s important to make it a good habit.
Our mom can not help us doing these chores forever, so if we can help doing these…our mom will not be so tired…
^ ^
It’s not very difficult.

((Sorry poor English

Nah… I have a maid.

My parents seem to think I shouldn’t do chores since my sister went to college. They used to make me do the dishes two days a week, but one of those was usually too much for me, and now they’ve just stopped making me. If I have ECs every night and can barely get to bed w/HW, they don’t want to make me do the dishes. I used to rake grass too. I don’t know who does that now.

They pretty much pay me for all of my chores now. I get a dollar a day for keeping my room clean, and I get my $10 allowance if my room is clean for at least 5 days of the week. I do have to keep the bathroom clean, but I’m the only person who uses it, so it’s reasonable. Just sweep my hair, scrub the tub.

I seldom did chores when I lived home. Usually, I went home, finished my dinner, then went upstairs to study. But after I enter university, I go home two weeks a month, so I begin to do chores. I think I should help to do chores more.

yes, i do chores. i WISH my parents thought i shouldn’t do chores. i don’t get paid either. but at least i don’t live on a farm… it’s not really that hard to do a few chores around the house, but farm chores are a pain.

Seldomly do I do my own chores.
When my dad had moved out [and I with him in addition to my sister] I picked up a ton of slack and did EVERYthing. So I’m not too worried about living on my own.

hmmm i used to do alot of chores when i was twelve… now… not so much.

mostly just doing my own laundry, and ill unload the dishwasher about once a week what a fail. i can’t even consider that to be a real chore

set the table and clean up/vacuum/whatever after dinner. and i clean my room. but thats about it. i feel bad cause my parents both work-- but im too disorganized lazy and busy… but im starting to get my act together.

All the dishwashing has gone to me since I was in sixth grade. Sometimes the cooking/vacuuming/laundry too. Ah, I feel like an unpaid servant in my own house. -___-

Keep room and bathroom neat, help whenever my mom needs it, set/clear/wash table after dinner.

My parents gave up on my room but in general, when I’m home, I have to clean the whole house, take care of the dog, take care of their garden, etc.

The only thing I refuse to do is the bathroom.

Yes; I do the dishes regularly and do my own laundry.

Not much and not too often…but I have done every chore in the house at least once in the last year or so. :o

exactly. Cleaning your room is a chore? I guess I always do that…? My room is always clean and doesn’t ever need cleaning…
