Do you guys take notes when using AMSCO for APUSH?

I started late to prepare for APUSH, and I'm only on chapter 4 in AMSCO right now.
My teacher gave us quizzes from REA book since Febuary but I don't think I remember even half of the things I studied
Would it be a good idea to take notes when using AMSCO? Or would that be just too inefficient?

bump…anyone???

I don’tttt because I don’tttt have the time.

If you want to go through the whole book on time, I would suggest highlighting key information while you read. That’s a more efficient way to refresh your memory given your time frame.

^ Yes. I read through it once and highlighted important things. Then I went through the highlighted stuff twice the week before the test.

If you’re taking the SATII in June, then you can go through the highlighted stuff again right before that test.

No. It takes too much damn time.

I’m thoroughly reading through the entire book (I’m on chapter 20 currently), then I’m gonna take a full practice exam… and depending on what I got wrong on the practice exam I’ll go back and read up a little more on things I wasn’t so clear about.

And before the exam I’m just gonna skim the book again.

Thanks guys!!!
I’ll read and highlight then, I just hope the information sticks to my head until the AP exam lol
Could you check and give comments on a schedule that I made for my self until the AP test??
-this week~next week around Wednesday-finish AMSCO
-rest of the week: Use Crash Course and several study packets that I got from several different people
OR should I just use Crash Course with AMSCO this week??
Does Crash Course have alot of details? How long is it?

Oh and do you guys look at the Multiple choice questions, key terms, historical perspectives, and documents in AMSCO?
Are they helpful? Should I just ignore them?

bump…anyone?
