Do you hate it when teachers tell you how to be organized?

Gracious. This is taking perfectionism to the extreme. My sister had the misfortune of having a teacher with too much time on her hand, and was a bit like this. 1" binders were required. No, not 1.5", not 2", but 1".

Fortunately, my teachers do not do this. Although, my middle school provided planners and required us to get them signed weekly, and for us to use them. It was a big part of our grade, but most people just wrote the assignments in before school started. What a waste of paper.

I’m glad I dont have to do that.

my supplies for this year: 1 folder with pockets and 1 4-subject spiral bound notebook.

When I was in high school, I did not like the binders thing at all.

Now, that I have been at University for a while, I will tell you folks something…

The binders thing is a really good thing to learn about. But, ultimately, you will only need that skill for: math, foreign language, and science.

Binder checks with specific requirements (e.g. adding and writing in an extra notes section from the already-included notes taken in an entirely different section of the sectioned binder and not referring to it beyond the first day and docking marks for not having it) **** me off.

I hate binders/required supplies. I usually buy the thing for the initial “supply check” at the end of the first week or whatever, and then ignore it for the rest of the year.

And periodic “binder use” checks are completely annoying. My chemistry teacher did that, and I always got 0’s.

OH MY GOD.

I showed up to AP Chem today with a 1 inch binder, but apparently we needed a 1.5 inch one, so she gave me 5/20 on the supply check.

Lmaoo I’m failing chemistryyy alreadyyy

^Sorry, that’s ridiculous and unfortunate:/

We have a 70 point test on monday. It’ll save my grade. I hope.

What I find annoying is how some teachers will have the students buy all that random binder crap, dividers, notebooks, and then I never use them! Like my english teacher had me get a three subject notebook and I ensued to write in about 2 of those pages the entire year. And it’s not like I didn’t take required notes, because no one did.
