Do you have a better chance doing Early Decision Round I over Round II??

Applying to Emory... any differencE?

I'm interested in this as well... with any school does it make a difference? ;)

Most schools with two ED rounds do not give the acceptance rate breakdowns of each. Emory claims that there is no difference in applying ED I vs ED II.
Last year there was a post on the Emory board providing one year stats and there was definitely a higher rate of acceptance ED I.

Emory, like many other schools, over-enrolled in 2006 due to # of applicants deciding to attend; off hand, I believe about an extra 75 students. In 2005 Michigan over enrolled a great deal which translates into accepting less the following year. I beleive these schools will be fine tuning the management of acceptance rates.

If Emory is your first choice and you have decided to apply ED, I would apply EDI.

Last year, l was in the situation of deciding between two ED schools. I decided to apply to my other school whch only had an EDI round first. I was rejected and applied to Emory ED II.

It worked out for me but I think I was quite fortunate. Good luck!
