My boyfriend and I met when one of my best friends broke up with him lol. (They had only been going out a few days). I felt so bad for him because he was devastated that I befriended him on MySpace. We talked for a little while (like a few weeks) and realized that we lived very close to one another, which is weird because our school district is huge and we live in the remote corner of it. Anyways, after a while we finally met face to face outside of school. Everybody knew that we were going to get together... to the point that our friends started making bets on when it would be. I finally got him to admit that he liked me and then I asked him out because he was too shy to.

Then, I didn't see him for a week because my family and I went up north. I was desperately trying to hide it from my parents but my best friend who was with me told them >.<. They were ok with it until they met him. He was dressed gothic to the extreme and they were caught off guard. They love him now.

We've been together 2 years and 4 months. :)

Funny fact: The first time he told me he loved me, I hung up on him. Lol. I was walking around downtown with one of my friends and we were on the phone. Just as I was going to close my phone he goes, "I love you!" and I clicked it closed. I looked at my friend and was like "Uh... did he just say what I think he said?" and she burst out laughing. I never called him back either to tell him I felt the same way lol.

This thread really makes me wonder how many girls at my school like me but say/are terrible at articulating so. I'm thinking it isn't very many, but still...

I'm very like shy person I guess, I feel awkward in social situations... soo awkward in fact that somebody thought I liked this guy who I would never like because I kept like getting really shy around him, but I was just getting shy because thats what I do... it was an awkward conversation that one.

@Melancholy Dane: I'm a big fan of satire, but that is actually not a satirical story. As weird as it sounds, it's genuine. He's one of those geeky types who lives on his computer.

"(Jk, ladder theory is 90% BS and/or grossly oversimplified and exaggerated.)'..thats what you think. Thats what most girls say, but if you ask any guys theyll say its true. Most girls dont notice that they do it, but they do

I do my best not to :]
Actually, my general thing is to date a guy for a few months, then I realize how DREADFULLY boring he is, and end up dumping his ass... lol.
But it's okay, because all my ex's are in college now so I don't have to put up with them. :]

Yeah, that sounds terrible, but there isn't much... "selection" around here, ahhaha.
