Pretty self-explanatory. The word "passion" gets thrown around quite often in the college admissions world, but not all students have the benefit of being truly passionate about something. Are you one of the fortunate?

Not passionate about anything colleges care about.

Social Justice, most definitely. Radical, yes, but definitely necessary. This is pretty clear to people who know me, and it’s what I’ll devote my life to.

I am very passionate about all of my EC’s.

^^ COMMUNIST. SOMEONE CALL GLENN BECK. DON’T LET THE COMMUNISTS WIN!!!

jk

Feeding the hungry, giving shelter to the homeless, aiding the sick, human rights, etc.

yeah…

^^^ hahahahhahahah oh I hate Glen Beck.

I guess my passion is the politics and the law. Seeing to it that the law treats everybody equally, and that everyone may have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (People like Glen Beck are exactly what I think is wrong with this country).

Haha, Communism = Democratic Government AND Democratic Economy (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was as Socialist as it was filled with republics… not at all. It was all propaganda).

I would be quite happy to have Glenn Beck attack my beliefs (the man who said people shouldn’t go to churches that preach social justice)

My passion is for AHH MOTHERLAND!!!

ahem

I’m passionate about scientific discovery, if that counts.

I’m passionate about piano playing, but that’s not related to my major…

I’ve never suffered all that much.

I am Passionate about being not Passionate about anything.

Well let’s define “passion.” Passion isn’t something you love doing. Passion is something that you are positively obsessed with. A passion pervades your life in every way, something that gets you genuinely emotional and that you think and talk about all the time. A lot of the time, it’s all you can even think about. It drives you crazy. It’s like being in love… with a thing (as distinguished from infatuation).

Using this definition, I can say I am genuinely passionate in my hatred of promiscuity, drugs, and alcohol.

I do love constitutional law in that I can do Moot Court in lieu of eating (I often go days without eating and with minimal sleep while I’m preparing my notes). That said, I’m not sure if I’m prepared to call it a real passion.

^I was going with a slightly more extreme (and etymological) definition of passion being something for which one would horribly suffer, but I like yours. With that, I’m pretty sure I’m passionate about disliking cynicism, where it is opposed to a belief in meaning and symbolic significance. And moving towards being passionate about cultural literacy.

I am passionate about cleanliness, neatness, orderliness, and structure and taking care of babies/toddlers/young children because, honestly, they’re cute, won’t judge or criticize you, and it’s always fun asking them silly questions and teaching them numbers and the alphabet. I think I might volunteer at a daycare later in high school.

I have red passion but I’m not communist :D

i used to have a passion but now…

I don’t really have a passion, unfortunately. Hopefully that’ll change so I can be useful.

“Passion” is something that I love to do and will continue for the rest of my life
So yup!

Japanese/Korean, acting, guitar/piano, dancing, and writing/reading. :D
