Do you have any teachers that you absolutely despise?

I feel that I need to vent. I've had many teachers that I didn't like for whatever reasons, but my physics teacher takes the cake.

Now, he is actually a nice guy, but it stops there. He is a somewhat new teacher (this is his 4th year) and really lacks confidence. What I mean by that, alot of times when we are going over equations, he struggles and has to ask the other teacher for help, or just ignores it completely. Now I'm definately not one to talk with my history in math, but seriously if you're going to teach physics you need to get your **** together.

His grading on tests and labs is pretty fair, now complaints. Homework on the other hand, I have no idea how he grades. Rather than collect HW every day, he waits till we have a chapter test and we turn in our homework packets. The majority of the class uses up alot of paper for their HW thus making their packet thicker. Well I was never one to do this, so it looks like I don't have alot, but the work is there. Well I was getting several points docked and I would actually do the work, whereas others who just used alot of paper got perfect scores. I talked to him about this, and he always beats the bush on the topic. Luckily I was able to reason with him a couple times.

I feel bad for the Juniors in the class, as this class will affect their GPA for college.

Rant Over

OMG I have physics teacher I hate too! He's a nice person, but when it comes to teaching, he can't do it. His boring lectures are unbearable and he bombards the class with (literally) hundreds of packets that no one reads. He asks us "How I am I doing" at least once a day, and I haven't the heart to tell him I knew more physics before I took his class...

I have no idea how he grades either. First quarter I did nothing. Not kidding. No labs, no homework, just a few quizs/tests. Got a B. Second quarter, tried harder, got a C+. Third quarter, handed in one take home test, got a B+. I don't know...
