Do you have to apply EA to be considered for the Morrill Scholarship?

Title^

Bump…

Bump

I’ll give it a shot, since no one else has replied…
From the OSU website:
“How to apply
For priority consideration, submit the Common Application by the November 1 early action deadline. Be sure to indicate your interest in MSP on the Common Application and complete all required MSP sections.”

So, to receive priority consideration, apply by Nov. 1 - why wouldn’t you give yourself that opportunity? You may still be considered for it if you apply later, but why not increase your chances?

I planned on applying there before November 1st, but I was going to choose the regular decision option since O State isn’t my first choice.

But it’s EA, not ED. It’s a state school so it’s not even SCEA. If you apply before 11/1 then why not do EA? Do you have to choose EA/RD on CA for a state school? If so just choose EA. It doesn’t restrict you in any way. You can still do SCEA or ED to another school.

You both have cleared up somethings for me. Thank you very much! I was unaware that you could apply EA to a public University and a private one. Thanks again!
