Such as the CHEM 145-165 sequence, for example. I'm interested in taking honors chemistry and organic chemistry but I do not want to participate in the honors program.

Same question! I want to take the intro to photo class, but it says Honors Students only. Why?!

@Kironide: You do NOT have to be in Honors to take Honors science classes. My friend didn’t apply for Honors at all, and he’s in the Honors General Chem series right now. You take a placement test and you have to score a certain percent to be placed into Honors General Chem.

@h1dden: There’s a non-Honors intro to photography class though, right? For the more humanities type classes, I’m pretty sure it’s Honors only classes just reserved for Honors students. Why? Because the Honors program can decide which classes they want open to Honors students only.

Oh, I’m not sure! I was just browsing the course catalogue in the Arts dept and the only photo class offered says “Honors students only”, I don’t know why I didn’t consider that maybe that class is offered to regular students just not this quarter!

I think there’s an intro to photography class, but I THINK it’s in the spring! I’m really sure theres a non-Honors one though, because I was looking at that as a potential class to take in one of the next few years!
