Do you HAVE to have a general business type undergrad degree for MBA?

I have a question. After undergrad and lets say I do 2-5 years of work and I want to get my MBA. Do I have to have a business type degree such as Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, etc. to get that MBA?

Could I for example in undergrad, major in Computer Engineering, then let's say get a job at Microsoft and work there for a few years in a non-management position, could I go back and get my MBA??

Or is it pointless to get an MBA with a engineering degree? Couldn't I just get my master's or PhD in the engineering degree or would a MBA have more benefits?

Is an MBA only worth it if you have a Business-Economic type degree?

Engineers are some of the best MBA students. My undergrad major was mathematics and I graduated near the top of my class.

Engineers often go back for their MBA. If you want to continue doing computer engineering in a few years then an MBA is probably worthless. If you want to move into management or switch careers then an MBA is far more valuable than any graduate engineering degree.

Ok, what types of jobs are available with Business/Economics degrees? iBanking?
