anyone??? i need hope. seriously.

i did!(10 Char.)

Yes I do. In fact, I know someone with a 3.6uw w/ IB diploma, 18hundred-something SAT score. She was involved in varsity sports, club activities...

In addition, I have a friend who was valedictorian with 1800something score on her SAT who was accepted by both Berkeley and UCLA. She played varsity tennis and did some other stuff.

There is hope.

yeah, i know someone who got 1700something actually, but probably had a bunch of EC's and maybe other factors.

Here are some statistics for you to look at:

really caliplaya? what did you get? (if you don't mind)

i have a friend who got into berk with around an 1800

I know a girl that got in with a 1530... I don't know how to be honest.

maybe she was half grizzly?

yeah, I know a couple of people at UCLA with 1500-1800 scores... most of them are music majors/film majors aka north campus majors.

haha...are you implying something sofakingwangsta? :p

hello, I did!? I'm extremely cynical about it, can't help.

of course not

Why don't we throw in the majority of the athletes ..

Most of my Bruin friends had SATs lower than 1900, but their GPAs were very high.

BoelterHall...lucky we don't have any athletes on here :p

Not meant to degrade anybody, but that is a true fact that is known by many.

It's not necessary to act condescending towards others with lower SAT scores. And why make presumptions that those that were admitted must be North Campus majors or athletes?

I got under a 1900 with not so spectacular gpa, and I'm a South Campus major. Is there a loophole category I should be put under?

no, I'm just saying the majority that got under 1900 are north campus majors and athletes. There's probably a lot of north campus majors and athletes that got over 1900, and south campus majors that got under. No one's acting condescending either. Anyway, GPA doesn't really mean anything anymore after you get into a college... no one cares.

all i know is that ucla is pretty erratic in terms of admissions.

i doubt i'll get in, but stuff happens.
