So far the four people I know of accepted by Stanford in the early round, either got rejected or wait-listed by Harvard.
I wonder whether there is a pattern to it, that Harvard wouldn’t take such candidates to decrease its yield.
In the past, Harvard won the cross-admit battle, by a 2-1 ratio. I think the most recent data was from the year 2011.
Even then, it’s a 66% yield rate vs. it’s average yield rate of 80%+.
And equally I’m interested in learning about the flip side of the situation by switching their roles.
