<p>I'm curious, has anyone ever gotten a full-tuition scholarship to art school? If anyone, anywhere knows anyone who is studying art on a full scholarship, please post. How did they do it? Where did they go to school?</p>
<p>Cooper Union in NYC gives everyone who gets in a full tuition scholarship. You are still responsible for room and board. To get into Cooper you need top grades, great SAT scores, a very strong portfolio, and a lot of luck.</p>
<p>A friend of mine got a full scholarship to University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Not really sure how, other than being the top artist in my high school and getting good grades as well.</p>
<p>D and I attended a SCAD info session recently and there appears to be tons of scholarship available.

<p>i know someone who got full scholarships for Yale Art but he had 4.0 GPA and 1600 SAT so... you get the picture o_O i dont know why he only major in ART tho. he also graduated a while ago Btw.</p>

<p>I know a guy who got pretty much (I don't remember exact numbers, but if it wasn't full, it was close) a full ride to California College of the Arts.</p>
