I flip back and forth between IE and a finance degree. I really like some aspects of IE, but I don’t know if I want to be solving complex problems everyday. I have a few friends in finance and they like their jobs and make bank.

Do you like your job in finance? I’ve heard it go both ways.

It can go both ways, because people vary greatly. Although they both use complex math on an almost daily basis, that’s about it when it comes to similarities. The differences in the typical job responsibilities of each, vary greatly. If you haven’t yet, try taking some courses of each.
