<p>I'm an international student and I'm going to take the SAT in May.. Do I need to take subject tests as well or is the SAT good enough, depending on what I get I may take it again in October. Can someone explain to me please, thanks </p>
<p>SAT subject tests are usually only required by highly selective schools. And if you’re applying for a program such as engineering, the school may require particular SAT subject tests. Some schools may not require them, but may use them for placement purposes. If you already know some schools you are interested in, look at their application requirements and see if SAT subject tests are included. </p>
