I'm planning to start college in the first semester of 2014.
As the title says, i'm an international student and I already graduated from high school.
I need help because I don't know when do you need to take SAT subjects tests.
Is it really necessary? Is it requiered in non Ivy-Leagues or NON top notch universities?</p>

<p>Generally not required, but it depends on the school and your situation. Did you mean to post in the homeschool forum or the international forum? I’d recommend the latter.</p>
<p>It depends on the school and if you have any scholarshop opportunities, if so then more than likely you will have to take the SAT or ACT, many internationals find the ACT easier than the SAT. It’s mainly only the Ivies and other top tier schools that require you to take the subject tests as well as the SAT. Look on the admissions critera section of the website of the school that you want to apply to, if it doesn’t mention anything about it you can either take that as you don’t need to or you could email the international students admissions staff and ask them the question. Also you should probably have posted this in the International Students part of the website.</p>
<p>It may be better to take at least 3 SAT subjects. One math, one science, one literature. You may also take a foreign language SAT.</p>
