SAT Subject Tests

If the colleges that I am looking at do not require SAT subject tests, should I still take some to make my application better? I would only put it on there if I got good scores. what do you think? thanks.

why not?

Save your time and your money - don’t bother. Just BE SURE that the colleges you are applying to don’t require them, especially specific departments like engineering, math, or sciences. Your hard work and time would be better served re-taking the SAT or ACT to improve your score. SAT 2 tests are merely another money making scheme for The College Board. It’s shameful that some colleges require them, in my opinion.

If they don’t require it, it’s not worth your time or effort.

Oh, and if they say “recommended” (some colleges say that) then you should do them.
