Do you need to be in Greek Life to have a social life at UT Austin

Hi guys,

I am currently a junior in high school in New York, and I am planning to apply ED to UT Austin. My question is, though, whether I can still have a social life and go to the occasional party if I am not in a fraternity? By the way, I plan to apply to the Radio, Television, and Film program.

@deisman Yes! UT Austin is a huge campus right in the middle of downtown- there is always events happening and clubs to join and a ton of things to do. And if you can’t find something to do on campus, then Austin itself has so many fun things to do! None of my friends at UT Austin joined a frat or sorority, and they all have great social lives
